In the summer, Alexandria Park is a great place to walk and relax in an open and historic city parkland. Alexandra Park, Manchester, was designed in 1869 by Alexander Hennell and was opened to the public in 1870. Alexandria Park was the first public park that featured both recreational/sports facilities and ornamental. Back at Montgomery House there is a large patio with space for just lounging in the sun over the weekends. With a south facing patio, sun tans are (almost) guaranteed!
