The apartment is situated in a distinctive mews location, a quiet, away from it all residential road with an English village look and feel. The mews is situated on the south western tip of Battersea Park, a huge green open space on the south bank of the River Thames. The park's features include a boating lake, children's zoo and a truly picturesque view of London from the riverside path. But it's not the only big park that's nearby. A little further to the north is the premium residential area of Chelsea and the iconic Kings Road. Famous ever since the swinging Sixties for being one of the most fashionable areas of the capital. You'll discover that it's lost none of its style or charisma since. Take in the numerous bars, boutiques and cafes that line the road that leads you into plush Sloane Square and beyond to the shops and transport hub at Victoria. Also nearby is London's museum district featuring The Science Museum, The V&A and The National History Museum. The apartment is well served by London buses that will whisk you over Battersea Bridge into Chelsea and the iconic King's Road. Cross Albert Bridge and you'll reach a pick-up point served by boats that travel along the Thames to central London, the city and Greenwich. Battersea Park train station is close to the apartment too, and it's just one stop from the main train terminus at London Victoria, from where you can catch tubes on the London Underground, buses to all areas of London including Oxford Street, Knightsbridge (for Harrods) and Paddington, as well as coaches to various destinations across England, including Oxford and places further north.
